About us
Montessori Algeria is proud to integrate the richness of Algerian culture into Montessori education. We design pedagogical materials inspired by the Montessori method, reflecting our culture and its diversity. This heritage is an essential capital to pass on to children, above any other consideration.
Our approach
We design editorial and educational projects for children that highlight Algerian cultural heritage through rich and accessible media: illustrated books, audio tales in Arabic, French and Tamazight, as well as pedagogical materials made for exploration and manipulation.
Books
Our collections are intended for children aged 4 to 14. Each book offers a narrative approach designed to convey historical, cultural and human landmarks while giving children inspiring role models.
These narratives contribute to the child's understanding of the world, sense of identity and cultural openness.
Algerian popular tales
In line with our editorial approach, we are developing a project of Algerian popular tales adapted in video format, with full free access.
From oral tradition, these narratives are a precious intangible heritage that we wish to preserve, transmit and make accessible to new generations.
Through a careful and respectful adaptation, these videos give children a first taste of Algerian popular culture, while encouraging listening, imagination and intergenerational transmission.
Nomenclature cards
These nomenclature cards are designed to help children discover, understand and love the richness of Algerian heritage, transmit Algerian heritage to younger generations, value the diversity of regional crafts and traditions, and develop the child's sense of observation, vocabulary and cultural curiosity.
They are suitable for all ages, so that everyone can take ownership, at their own pace, of a precious cultural heritage.
Chronological friezes
Our publishing house offers downloadable PDF chronological friezes dedicated to historical events and biographical landmarks.
Designed as visual educational supports, these friezes highlight the key moments in the lives of Algerian figures and the essential milestones of our history.
Easy to download and use, they are clear and accessible accompanying tools to help share knowledge.
